Your journey begins with a morning pickup from Cochin (Kochi) by private car or bus, followed by a scenic drive to Munnar, which takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Along the way, you’ll pause at picturesque viewpoints to take in the breathtaking beauty of sprawling tea plantations, cascading waterfalls, and lush green landscapes. Upon arrival in Munnar, you’ll check in to your hotel or resort, where you can relax and freshen up. In the afternoon, explore the Tea Museum to discover the rich history and fascinating process of tea production in the region. Later, enjoy a peaceful walk through the tea gardens, soaking in the serene ambiance. Return to the hotel for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar, beginning with a visit to the scenic Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy a peaceful boating experience surrounded by hills and forests. Continue to Kundala Lake for a relaxing walk amidst picturesque surroundings, followed by a stop at Echo Point, a popular spot where your voice echoes back from the hills. After soaking in the natural beauty, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and known for its lush green landscapes. If time allows, explore Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, offering panoramic views. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and unwind with an overnight stay in Munnar.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your journey from Munnar to Thekkady, a scenic drive of approximately 90 kilometers taking around 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Head out for lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a boat safari in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may spot various wildlife species in their natural habitat. Later, explore the region’s fragrant spice plantations and learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and other spices. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and settle in for an overnight stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and embark on a scenic drive from Thekkady to Alleppey, covering approximately 140 kilometers in about 4 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your traditional houseboat and settle in as lunch is freshly prepared and served on board. Spend the afternoon cruising through the tranquil backwaters, gliding past lush paddy fields, coconut groves, and charming village scenes. As evening approaches, relax on the deck and take in the stunning sunset over the water. Enjoy a peaceful dinner on the houseboat and unwind with an overnight stay amid the serene backwaters of Alleppey.
Enjoy breakfast served on the houseboat before disembarking and checking out. Travel from Alleppey to Kovalam, a scenic 160-kilometer drive taking approximately 4.5 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in Kovalam and relax. Head out for lunch at a local restaurant before spending the afternoon unwinding at Kovalam Beach, where you can enjoy various water sports activities. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner at a beachside restaurant, soaking in the beautiful coastal views. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.
